Tuesday Roll Call

I have some blood work today to check the TSH levels after my meds were increased three months ago. Being put on an additional BP drug because the one I am on is just not doing all of its job. Other than that back to the salt mines AKA as the basement this evening after I get my hair cut after work.

Work is less then 1 hour away. Today I am only 5 min away with the car, 20 min walking, but don't, I have to haul a computer and briefcase with me every day.

Last night, I spent it on the phone. First with my daughter Annette, then my friend from Bellville, a quick call from my cousi,, then 2 lenghty calls from Hubert's Aunt in Florida, assuring her that we will see her next week, while she is visiting here in Illinois. Then a call to her granddaughter to iron out all the details of when and where. Then a call to Hubert's cousin Joyce to let them know when and where. I will call Aunt Anita back this morning to tell her what was decided, and then call her son to let him know. All in all, I spent more time on the phone and computer last night then I did at work all day.

I need to take the meat from the freezer for supper tonight.

I'm packing and repacking things to take to Chicago on the plane. I fly to Chicago on Saturday morning early. I'll be there eleven days, maybe longer.

It is raining on and off today so I'm not venturing out much.

Hello everyone

Well I have more time now because my boss took my overtime away.  I think in an effort to "punish" me but actually she is doing me a favor.  I don't rely on the the extra money for bills.  It's always been just extra money.  So I don't need the over time.  In fact most of my Christmas shopping is even done.  So I really don't need this added stress.  If she wants to do this she is only hurting the department...I am now less available to help. 

Yes she is still coming after me.  And yes the higher up people know of this and  I was told it was going to get better I just need to be patient.  I am just sick of it.  And quite frankly I'm not convinced that I'm not the one that will end up fired in the end. 

Any way, I am busy getting ready for my trip.  I am going to Charlevoix Michigan thursday.  I am so excited to get the heck out of dodge.  I need the relaxation and change of scenery.

Hi, I've had a hard time signing on here today. 

We were so busy at the store today, you'd have thought it was a Saturday! We had a class going on and about 6 people in for help as well as new shoppers--what a zoo! Iwas wanting to go to bed at seven, but Im still up at ten. I want to see the eclipse in the AM but will I get up--who knows?

It sounds like everyone is healthy and at least coping with life's trials. I'm just glad to be healthy enough to do what I love--knit!
